Years 5 & 6 Shine at the Primary choral concert

On Thursday 19th March, our talented Year 5 and Year 6 pupils had the wonderful opportunity to take part in the Primary Choral Concert at Beaminster School.

The children joined pupils from other local schools for an evening of music and celebration, showcasing weeks of hard work and dedication. Performing to a packed audience, they sang a variety of songs with confidence and enthusiasm, creating a truly memorable experience for everyone involved.

One of the highlights of the evening was their performance of Lush Life, which was delivered beautifully and demonstrated the pupils’ growing musicality and expressive singing. Alongside this, they performed a range of other songs, each one reflecting their commitment and enjoyment of singing together.

The atmosphere throughout the concert was uplifting, with students supporting one another and clearly taking pride in being part of such a special event. It was a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to perform in a larger venue, collaborate with others, and experience the joy of live music.

We are incredibly proud of all the children who took part. Their behaviour, effort, and enthusiasm were exemplary, and they represented Parrett & Axe Primary School brilliantly.

A big thank you goes to the staff who supported and prepared the children, as well as to families for their continued encouragement.
