Cross Country - Race 2

On Thursday 29 th January myself and some wonderful
parents (which we couldn’t do it without your support)
took 24 children to Beaminster School to take part in
the second cross country race of the season.
Every child ran really well in the very muddy, cold
conditions which they were presented with and each
child should be very pleased with themselves for
completing the course.
Jude Longden achieved first place in the Year 5/6 boys
race with another outstanding lead from the rest of the
runners.
In the teams we came second with the 3/4 girls team
made up of Libby Knight, Ayla Loveday, Frankie Cridge
and Aubrey Spencer (the first four runners back count
as the team). We came first in the 5/6 boys team
consisting of Jude Longden, Jamal King, Theo David and
Charlie Crate. Every child received a medal for their
achievement.
A very big well done to all runners – you coped very
well with the conditions.
