Netball Champions 2026

On Wednesday, Lisa Coggins and I took a team of 10 players
to Colfox School to play against St Catherine’s, the winners of
the Bridport area of schools' netball. The team consisted of
Jude, Theo, Charlie C, Carter, Joshua K, Holly C, Holly R,
Arienne, Miley, and Erin.

The final was made up of four eight-minute games, and we
rotated our players to ensure everyone had an opportunity
to play in the final.

We won the first game 2:0, the second 2:1. In the third game,
we lost 3:2 to St. Catherine's. Still, we fought back in our final
game with a fantastic 4:0. The overall final score was 10:4,
securing us the netball champions, winning a wonderful
shield to display at school, along with individual medals.
Every child was playing brilliantly, with fantastic goal-scoring
from Holly R and Carter. Everyone worked together
fantastically well as a team, and Lisa’s coaching skills were
again amazing.

A big thank you, as always, to the wonderful parents who
helped with the transport and supported our amazing
children.
