We are delighted to introduce the brand-new library at Parrett & Axe — a vibrant, welcoming space designed to inspire a lifelong love of reading across our school community.

Our new library has been carefully created to provide pupils with access to a wide range of high-quality fiction, non-fiction, and topic-based books to support both learning and reading for pleasure. It’s a calm and inviting environment where children can explore new authors, discover exciting stories, and develop their research skills.

📚 Library Opening Times

The library will be open at the following times:

Tuesdays and Fridays (Lunchtimes):

• 12:00 – 12:30 for KS2

• 12:30 – 1:00 for Corfe and Chesil

Fridays (After School):

• 3:00 – 3:30

These sessions give children regular opportunities to browse, borrow, and enjoy books throughout the week.

We look forward to seeing our pupils making the most of this wonderful new space and continuing to grow as enthusiastic, confident readers!
